Airports in Italy
In Italy there are big intercontinental passenger airports located near the Italian major cities of Rome (region Lazio) in the center and Milan (region Lombardy) in the north.
Throughout the country there are also a number of medium-sized and smaller airports located almost in all the regions, as well as on the islands of Sicily, Sardinia, Lampedusa and Elba, with flights from/to the main European and Mediterranean airports and national destinations in Italy.
