Hotels, Agritourism, B&B in the Province of Treviso, Veneto
The province occupies the historical area of the March of Treviso, which was for century a fiefdom of the Venice Republic, then Austrian from 1796 to 1866, and a war theatre during World War One with battlefields at Monte Grappa, Montello, Vittorio Veneto, and along the Piave river.
Thanks to the abundance of waters and the fertility of the land, the province has a lively agricultural sector, with typical products as the red Radicchio, high quality wines, and renowned cheeses. Among the points of interest are three magnificent Palladian villas at Cessalto, Maser and Vedelago, included among the Unesco World Heritage sites.
