Castello di Serravalle, Bosa (OR), Sardegna, Italy
The Serravalle castle was built by the Malaspina family in 1112 AD, near the little town of Bosa, in the province of Nuoro, along the Western coast of Sardinia. Of the original large building, presently the walls and towers are still standing. The medieval town was built below the castle, along the northern bank of the Temo river, and the castle can be reached walking up the narrow alleys of the historical center.
